Through Beats of Remembrance at Personal Counseling Service, Inc. individuals can begin a healthy grieving process, while receiving a special memory of their loved one. Through this program, a music therapist records the loved one's heartbeat. The beat is then used as the rhythm to a song of the family's choosing. A CD is then provided to the family. This program is done in partnership with Baptist Health-Floyd hospital and is also provided to any individuals who may request it.

Any mount of money can help, but here are some incentives:

• Music Therapy Helper ($1-$49). Donors at this level will be sent a video message, including music, and a personal thank you note.
• Friends of Music Therapy ($50-$99). Donors at this level will be sent a personal video message which will include one acoustic cover of their choosing.
• Music Therapy Associates ($100-$199). Donors at this level will also be sent a personalized video message including one acoustic cover of their choosing. Also, to better understand "Beats of Remembrance," donors at this level will be able to record one heartbeat song with me.
• Music Therapy Advocates ($200+). Donors at this level will receive the prior two incentives (video message/acoustic cover & their own heart beat song). They will also get a free ticket to go to a concert (TBD) with me.
