Personal Counseling Service, Inc. was founded in 1959. For more than 60 years, we have been providing mental health services for those in our community. PCS is a locally operated nonprofit, located in Clarskville, IN, and provides help to those of the Kentuckiana region. In 2019, our therapists counseled over 10,000 clients. 67% of those clients were children and adolescents, and 57% of them were at or below the federal poverty level.
Our services include individual therapy, couples therapy, family therapy, addiction therapy, pastor and youth therapy, group therapy, play attention therapy for children, psychological testing and evaluations, medication management, pastoral counseling, sexual abuse and domestic violence therapies, robber victim support groups, and personal coaching.
For 61 years, PCS has served the people of Southern Indiana and Kentucky by offering our community members a caring refuge from the stress of daily living. We promote an overall sense of wellness - mind, body, and spirit - that has proven to lead to better performances for our clients in life and at work.
